KOCHI:A memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be signed between DP World Kochi and the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to jointly operate a 24 hour help centre at Walayar.
The MoU will be signed at a meeting to be held at the Chamber Hall at 5 pm on Friday. Cochin Port Trust chairman Paul Antony will be the chief guest.

The help centre facility will be beneficial to exporters and importers who are routing their consignment through the Cochin Port. The facility is meant to sort out the difficulty faced at the checkposts. I

Similarly the documents to be submitted at the checkposts can be made ready in advance avoiding undue delay.

Various stakeholders such as portusers' community, commodity boards, exporters and importers will be present at the meeting.
