Exhibition-cum-sale at Lalit Kala

CHENNAI: The Craft Council of India (CCI) is organising an exhibition and sale of select craft products from award winning artisans across India at Lalit Kala Akademi from April 20 to 22.  The Craft Council of India has instituted awards that are given every year to deserving artisans based on their excellence in the craft and on their contribution to their community. This exhibition showcases the work of many artisans who have won this year and in the years past.  This year’s awards are being presented to the recipients by His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Dr K Rosiah on April 19.
