New Delhi: At least 34 trains were delayed and two cancelled on Tuesday due to fog in most parts of north India, a railway official said.
According to the Northern Railway official, the Jogbani-Anand Vihar Express was running over 11 hours behind schedule, the Swatantrata Senani Express was 24 hours late and the Shaheed Express was over 9 hours 30 minutes late.

The official also said that at least seven trains were rescheduled.
Meanwhile, according to the Delhi International Airport Limited, which manages operations at the Indira Gandhi International airport, flight operations were not affected on Tuesday.
It was a misty morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain clear throughout the day with mist/shallow fog in the morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.

According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent, and the maximum temperature was likely to hover around 25 degrees Celsius.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 6.6 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
