YADGIR: Four girls of an undivided family drowned in a well at Baddepalli village of Yadgir taluk on Monday.
Yadgir SP Roopa Moudgil said that another girl sustained injuries in the tragic incident.The deceased have been identified as Jahida (10) and Shahida (15) both daughters of Maheboob Ali and Taslim(14) and Shahina (16), both daughters of Kattar Hussain.

Maheboob Ali and Kattar Hussain are brothers who reside in a farmhouse at Baddepalli village. The five girls went to play in the farm and when Jahida felt thirsty, she went to drink water from a well situated in the farm.

Along with Jahida, Shahida, Taslim and Shina also drowned. However, Shakira who knew a little bit of swimming, survived with serious injuries.
