BANGALORE: Sri Krishna PU and Degree College recently organised 'Spoorthi-2011' — a platform to showcase the talent of students. The college has been conducting extra-curricular activities and cultural programmes for the last several years for the all-round development of the students.Students demonstrated their talent at the various cultural and entertainment events including group singing, dance and monoacting.Bangalore University Registrar (Evaluation) Prof T R Subramanya inaugurated the festival. “Students are merely acquiring information and do not gain knowledge on the subject,” he said.Humourist Sudha Bargur said, “The youth of today show great interest in various aspects of the material world, but have little experience in life skills.Students have to learn to face life in times of difficulties.They should not lose interest in life.” Rukmananda Naidu, founder-chairman, Sri Krishna PU and Degree College said, “The college has been conducting such cultural programmes to showcase the talent of the students.It's definitely good for the students.”
