KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has held that the responsibility to control fee structure and admission in self-financing colleges (non-professional courses) is vested with the state government.Disposing of two writ petitions filed by the Association of Self-financing College Managements, Justice Antony Dominic made it clear that the regulations issued by the MG University for admission to merit quota seats in degree courses through the single window system could not be made applicable to private unaided colleges.
