HC orders notices to G category site allottee

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday directed the petitioner to issue notices to those who have not received them on a public interest litigation filed by a city-based advocate alleging violation of procedures in G-category site allotment.Acting Chief Justice Vikramji Sen and Justice A S Bopanna, who heard the petition filed by S Vasudeva, directed him to issue notices to those who had not received them, and adjourned further hearing till January 5.Vasudeva had challenged the allotment of 249 sites by former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy. He said procedures were not followed when the G category sites were allotted.He wanted the court to quash the allotments.
