The Allahabad High Court has asked Uttar Pradesh government to file its response to a Public Interest Litigation seeking implementation of the Food Security Act in the state.
The order was passed on Tuesday by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud and Justice Dilip Gupta on the PIL filed by one Nagendra Patel.
The court has asked the state government to file its counter affidavit within four weeks.
