BANGALORE: After the successful launch of tele medicine facility, helping rural population in seeking medical consultancy, the Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital has now come up with a tele teaching programme for the benefit of post graduates, clinicians and patients.The tele-teaching programme between the Department of Radio Diagnosis at Bowring and Lady Curzon hospital and Boston Medical Centre, USA, which was launched on Friday is a platform to discuss clinically interesting cases with specialists. In the first-of-its-kind programme, the first day of the conference on Abdominal imaging- Muscular skeletal and chest imaging witnessed participation from nearly 80 clinicians from across the state.Speaking on the occasion Dr Satish Chandra, medical superintendent, Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital said, “We are also in talks with the ex-faculty members and students of Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute who are abroad to hold  guest lectures for the  students, helping them in academics and update them on new modalities.
