London: An Indian green campaigner was perched on the roof of the British parliament along with other activists for the second day Monday in a protest against Western climate change policies.
Brikesh Singh of Greenpeace India spent a "very cold night" on Sunday along with 32 activists atop the Palaces of Westminster, a Greenpeace spokesman said.
Singh was said to be preparing to come down later Monday.
The Indian, described as a "very good climber," is part of a protest action to highlight the need for rich countries to undertake binding carbon emission cuts in order to set an example to industrialised developing countries such as India and China.
A spokesman for Greenpeace said Singh and his companions, who have put up banners saying 'change the politics, save the climate', have run out of food and water.
Police arrested 24 protesters on Sunday after they ended their rooftop protest, and a similar fate may await Singh and other protesters.
