Los Angeles: 'No Country for Old Men' star Javier Bardem has confirmed that he will play James Bond's antagonist in the upcoming 007 movie. Although, Bardem, 42, has confirmed long-running rumour about his involvement in an untitled Bond 23 project, he refused to give further details about his character, reported Ace Showbiz.

"They chose me to play this man, but I cannot give you many details. I am very excited. My parents took me to watch the movies and I saw all of them. So to play that is going to be fun," said the Oscar winning actor.

Apart from the Bond movie project, which will be released in the US on November 9 next year, Bardem is recently in talks to lend his voice for animated movie 'Despicable Me 2'.
