Kannada review: 'Rajani Kantha' lacks narration
The story of the film revolves around two twin brothers played by Dhuniya Vijay as 'Rajani' and 'Kantha' inspired from the name of megastar Rajinikanth.

Kannada film 'Rajani Kantha' with the name of Tamil super star Rajinikanth is a below average film. The story fails to hold audiences attention. The dialogues are loosely structured and do not deliver any meaning.

The director of the film Pradeep Raj who rose to fame with his last film 'Kirataka' has failed to impress the audience this time.

The story of the film revolves around two twin brothers played by Dhuniya Vijay as 'Rajani' and 'Kantha' inspired from the name of megastar Rajinikanth.

The elder brother 'Kantha' is born with a cleft palate is different from his younger brother 'Rajani'. Their mother loves her elder son more than the younger one.

Concidently, both the brothers fall in love with the same girl 'Priya', played by (Aindrita Ray), who is the sister of a gangster. 'Kantha' impresses the girl with poems that are written by his brother 'Rajani', what follows is the story.

The film is a can be watched by the fans of Duniya Vijay. The actor has tried his best to deliver in the film. The director has tried to combine all ingredients of action, comedy and romance altogether but, to no effect.

The music of the film by Arjun Janya is melodious, and cinematography by R Giri is also average.

All in all the film lacks a good narrative and is a waste of effort.
