New Delhi: It's the best of times for Kareena Kapoor. After the runaway success of Omkara and the Smita Patel Memorial Award which she received on September 19, today is Kareena's birthday.
With things going right in more ways than one, Kareena has finally decided to take a brief sabbatical from work. She's celebrating her 26th birthday in Goa with a bunch of close friends.
So, it’s certainly an extended vacation for Kareena as she is just back from a vacation with beau Shahid Kapur. And before the holiday, the couple was seen scorching the ramp at designer Manish Malhotra’s show at the Will’s Lifestyle Fashion Week in the Capital.
Kareena has had a good year professionally, too, with films like Chup Chup Ke, 36 China Town and Omkara.
In fact all the films have done moderately well and Kareena has received good reviews too.
So, movies continue to be top priority for this Bollywood babe. Though, Shahid and Kareena have been seeing each other for the past few years, wedding bells are not in the offing.
When a national daily recently asked Kareena for a wedding date, she said, “Not for the next four years for sure.”
“I'll most definitely marry Shahid, I'm not the kind to jump from one relationship to another,” she was quoted as saying. “For me, love is for keeps.”
So, Shahid it is then but when he pops the question is what we all have to wait for.
