Kevin Spacey might be dancing happily to the tunes of 'Lungi dance', but he was reportedly alarmed by the Indians' obsession with his latest show, 'House of Cards'.
Spacey, who plays the drama's leading character Francis Underwood, made the comments at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) which took place in Tampa, Florida.
Spacey plays a conniving congressman in the hit series, which is released only through Netflix. Since Netflix services are not available in India, Agence-France Presse quoted him suggesting that Indian audiences were 'watching the show illegally'.
"House of Cards is really big in India, I discovered," he revealed as he walked the green carpet at the Raymond James Stadium. "Except isn't it funny that Netflix doesn't exist there yet. Which means that you're stealing it," Spacey told the Agence-France Presse.
