According to eyewitnesses, a circuit like device was seen near the bombs.
Kolkata: Two children on Saturday injured after a container exploded near rail gate no 2 at the Dumdum cantonment railway station in the northern outskirts of Kolkata. The two children, ages 11 and 12, who were rack pickers were playing with the containers when it exploded.
Three more similar containers also found at the site. The injured have been admitted to the local dumdum municipal hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, a circuit like device was seen near the bombs. Besides GRP and local police, a bomb disposal squad has reached the spot to defuse the remaining bombs.
