New Delhi: LG is all set to launch its much-awaited LG Optimus Pro handset in India today. While the company has not yet announced what it is going to unveil today at the launch event, a source, with information on the Optimus G Pro launch plans in India, has confirmed to IBNLive.com that LG will announce the launch of the Optimus G Pro in India today at its event. The phone is speculated to be priced around Rs 40,000.

The phone has a 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by a quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The Optimus G Pro will feature a curved glass screen.

It has a 13 megapixel Full HD Camera with dual recording. It has a 2.1 megapixel full HD front-facing camera.

The Optimus G Pro also comes with advanced UX features developed specifically for the device, such as Dual Recording and Virtual Reality (VR) Panorama. Dual Recording allows users to capture video with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously for a unique picture-in-picture experience.

And, VR Panorama allows shots of entire horizontal and vertical environments for a full 360 degree view.
