New Delhi: £4,00,000 down the drain - that's what critics are calling it in London as the England capital's 2012 Olympic logo had to be pulled out.
After severe criticism the logo has been pulled off as it might trigger epileptic fits. The logo which cost £400,000 was made up of four jagged pieces that form the numbers 2012. It was reported that people had seizures while watching these animated visuals. The organising committee will now re-edit the film.
"The clip that was put together that triggered these epileptic fits. It was done by a firm that does this, that's their normal job, and therefore there will be some really strong questions about why didn't they check this? When people go to a firm to make a promotional film like that you assume they know what the laws and rules are, and I think they've got some difficult questions to answer," Ken Livingstone, the Mayor of London said.
