KOCHI: A 35-year-old youth was found with his leg infested with worms from Njarackal on Friday.Shamiri, who was rescued by the members of the Theruvora Pravarthaka Association, was immediately taken to the Ernakulam General Hospital and later shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kottayam.Shamiri was left neglected for days without food and shelter. Finally he found comfort when Theruvora member Murugan noticed him and rushed him to the nearby hospital.
