THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A person who was taken into custody by the state Anti-Piracy Cell (APC) in connection with a piracy-related case was found dead in Bangalore on Sunday morning. Asokh, 27, a Bangalore resident, was found hanging in the bathroom of the BSF camp where he was kept in custody by the APC officials. The APC had taken Asokhan and his father Sudhakaran into custody three days ago after they surrendered in a Chennai magistrate court. The APC team obtained Asokh’s custody and took him to Bangalore in connection with the probe. An officer with the APC said that Asokh had gone to take bath. When he failed to return, the APC personnel entered the bathroom and he was found hanging in the towel, he said.
