New Delhi: Continuing with our series on films that released on 2013 here is a look at the movies that were released in the month of May and June. While May was the month when Indian cinema completed 100 glorious years and Ranbir Kapoor emerged as the Box Office king, June gave us southern superstar Dhanush in a 'Banarasiya' avatar.

Shootout At Wadala: Sanjay Gupta's return to direction gave John Abraham a chance to get intimate with sultry Kangana Ranaut. But, then Manya Surve would make love in his own style, some called it brutality though.
Bombay Talkies: Karan Johar proved his mettle among the most promising Hindi film directors with his sensible take on same sex relationship. Vineet Singh emerged as the man to look out for in a collage of critically and commercially successful actors.
Go Goa Gone: The film wished to spread a message against the substance abuse through a mindless but super funny situation. Thank god the makers didn't make the glamorous Puja Gupta a zombie. Her appeal helped the audience in braving weird zombies.
Gippi: Attempted as a sweet-naughty tale of teenagers, the film failed to rise up to the expectations. But, it gave a common Delhi girl Riya Vij a taste of immediate stardom. The cute girl showcased her potential.
Aurangzeb: Your appreciation for Atul Sabharwal's gangster saga will depend on your understanding of the crime scenario of Delhi-NCR. Rishi Kapoor stole the show from much younger actors like Arjun Kapoor and Prithviraj. Sasheh Agha arrived in Bollywood in a bikini.
I Don't Luv U: Ironically, this is what the audience said to the film. Ruslaan Mumtaz can now be seen on the small screen. Don't ask us who Ruslaan Mumtaz is?
Ishkq In Paris: Preity Zinta finally succeeded in taking her jinxed project to cinema halls, but it didn't garner a favourable response there. The bubbly beauty will have to think of other ways to remain in the public memory.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani: Ranbir, Deepika convinced the viewers that one can dance in skimpy clothes in extreme cold weather. Also, Gulmarg couldn't double up for Manali. Omar Abdullah ko gussa aise hi nahi aata hai.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 2: The film perhaps taught a lesson to its makers that one can sell bizarre, toilet humour to the viewers just once. When repeated, it is simply trashed.
Fukrey: Bunch of students from Delhi, a lady gangster and a whole lot of chaos. Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba showed us how a good story can do wonders for a film even if it has relative newcomers as its lead.
Ankur Arora Murder Case: Medical drama boasted of some good performance by actors Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra and Paoli Dam yet the film sank without a trace.
Raanjhanaa: South superstar Dhanush showed north that you do not need six packs to become a hindi film hero always. The film also raised a huge debate about the thin line between a stalker and a lover.
Enemmy: Mithun Chakraborty did a Bachchan by starring in a film with his son. Neither Mithun da nor Maha Akshay's makeover could help the film.
Shortcut Romeo: How did Susi Ganeshan's Telegu film 'Thiruttu Payale' on which the hindi remake was based, become a hit still remains a mystery. And we sincerely hope that Neil Nitin Mukesh finds a good film soon!
Ghanchakkar: So much potential Rajkumar Gupta's film held and yet this one left everyone saying what Vidya Balan says through the film. "Hain?!"
