CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Thursday raised the issue of Lankan Navy attacks on Tamil Nadu fishermen and the resettlement of internally displaced Lankan Tamils with National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon who met her here on his way to Sri Lanka.Menon and Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao leave for Colombo on Friday morning.The meeting between the CM and Menon lasted an hour at her Poes Garden residence. Chief Secretary Debendranath Sarangi was also present. Menon assured the CM that he would take up all the issues with Sri Lanka on Friday and get back to her before returning to New Delhi.
