Police said the minor girl was lured to a secluded place and raped by Sibacharan Das during Holi.
Paradip: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her uncle near Paradip in Odisha, police said on Friday.
The incident took place at Taradapada village in Jagatsinghpur Police Station on Thursday. The accused Sibacharan Das was arrested and forwarded to judicial custody, the police said.
The minor girl was lured to a secluded place and raped there by her uncle during Holi, Sibaji Mohanty, inspector-in-charge (IIC) of Jagatsinghpur police station, said.
