One more dies of dengue

BERHAMPUR: L Krishna Rao of Gudiabandha village under Padmapur block in Rayagada district  died of dengue at the MKCG Medical here on Friday. He was admitted to the hospital two days back.  A separate ward with 30 beds has been set up in the Medical for the dengue patients. So far, 21 patients have been admitted to the hospital and seven of them discharged after treatment.Meanwhile, people of Kabisuryanagar block are panic-stricken after six more cases reported dengue positive in this block. Till last week, 15 persons were found dengue positive from the block.Sources said many more persons in the area are suffering from dengue-like symptoms. However, district health officials said the situation is under  control.
