Operation sweep: Two more held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health squad of the City Corporation caught two people from Vattiyoorkavu and Valiyathura for throwing garbage filled in plastic carry bags in public places and on roadsides on Sunday. Thus, the total number of litterbugs caught by the squad has reached 48. The number of cases booked by health inspectors in the circles concerned are as follows. B Pradeep Kumar of Fort- 5, Samil Babu of Chalai - 5, Ramesh Kumar of Medical College - 10, Baburaj of Sasthamangalam- 5, G Unni of Chenthitta - 1, N Rathikumar of Palayam -1, Ajith Kumar of Thirumala- 3, R Rajan of Beach -4, Suresh Das of Sreekanteswaram- 2, Joseph Singh of Nanthancode- 2, M J Baby of Jagathy - 1, Rajitha of Manacaud - 2, Paul Thomas of Karamana -1, T K Padmakumar of Secretariat- 2, M Muraleedharan Nair of Kadakampalli, Aattipra (zonal)-2, Francis Raj of Nemom (zonal)- 1.   Service of the squad that works 24 hours is available to the public also. Working of the squad has been intensified following the order of the Kerala High Court.
