THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police team, probing the Valakam attack, is arriving at a conclusion that teacher Krishnakumar was not injured with any sharp weapon but he was hit by a speeding car.The police conclusion is based on the medical report submitted by a six-member team of doctors of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. The police team is now probing whether it was just a road accident or somebody had hit him deliberately. As the medical report hints that the teacher might have been hit by a speeding vehicle, the investigation team has now shifted its focus from the astrologer to the white Alto car, which was seen passing by the local people in the wee hours on September 27. Police sources said that they had launched an intensive search for the vehicle in Kollam and the neighbouring districts.Incidentally, the people who first discovered Krishnakumar in a pool of blood had reported it as a hit-and-run case. Two people were said to have followed the car till a distance. The police had taken the statement of one of them.
