Quo-warranto against VK Singh

CHENNAI: A quo-warranto writ petition, questioning under what authority Vijay Kumar Singh was holding the post of Chief of Army Staff, has been filed in the Madras HC. When the petition from Dr S Vishwa Murti, founder chairman of Awareness on Anti-Corruption and Crime in Adambakkam, came up before a division bench on Friday, Central Government Standing Counsel M Krishnan took notice. The bench posted the matter for hearing on April 23.
