Rabri FIR-ed for breaching PM's security
Rabri and Digvijay Singh ignored the airport authorities' request to land at the Saharsa College ground.

Saharsa (Bihar): The District magistrate-cum-district election officer of Saharsa K P Singh has registered an FIR against Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi and AICC general secretary in-charge of Bihar Digvijay Singh.

Both of them were blamed for breaching the Prime Minister's security during his recent visit to Bihar.

Rabri Devi and Digvijay Singh had asked their pilot to land their helicopter at the Bihar airport on November 8 despite being denied permission.

The airport authorities had asked the pilot to land the helicopter at the Saharsa college ground keeping in mind the threat to the PM.

The chopper was scheduled to leave two-and-a-half hours after the PM's plane left but the two leaders paid no heed to the request and left soon after the PM's departure.

An FIR has been registered with the Saharsa police station by the officer in-charge, Satyendra Ram, against the two leaders.

Rabri was to address an election rally with the PM.

Digvijay Singh however stated that they had received prior permission of the airport office to land at the airport and had not violated the Model Code.
