Rajasthan government issues clarification, says it is 'voluntary' for schools to stay open on Eid
The clarification came after an order was issued by state College Education Directorate, asking all schools to compulsorily stay open for blood donation camps on September 25 to mark the birth anniversary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) icon Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

Jaipur: After the Rajasthan government sparked a row by announcing blood donation camps in schools on Eid ul-Adha, it clarified on Tuesday that it is upto the employees whether to work or not on the day of the festival. The state government said that schools and colleges can voluntarily stay open on the day.
