Retired Air Force officer arrested for killing family

Chennai: The Bangalore police have arrested a retired air force officer, who they say murdered his own family.

Police say that D S Yadav himself killed his wife and two children.

Yadav is now believed to have confessed to the murder. According to the police, he was having an affair with another woman and wanted to marry her.

Anu Yadav wife, 35 and her two children Aditya Shubham and Kirti Shubham were found dead, with their throats slit at their house in JP Nagar on Sunday.

Yadav had earlier told the police that he found their dead bodies on returning from the post office.

Police had begun investigating it as a case of robbery.

Yadav was working in a construction company and had left his home in the morning to book train tickets.

When he reached back he found the door open and his wife and children dead with their throats slit.

Yadav had said the money and jewelery were stolen from the house.

Police had said that it could have been a case of robbery and could have been done by professionals.
