PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala hill shrine of Lord Ayyappa was closed on Saturday evening after the five-day monthly poojas for the Malayalam month of Thulam.Laksharchana, Sahasrakalsam and Kalabhabhishekam were the special rituals held on the closing day. Udaysthamana pooja, Padi pooja and Puhspabhishekam were the other poojas held.TEMPLE TO BE REOPENED ON OCTOBER 25 Lord Ayyappa temple will reopen on October 25 evening for the celebration of Chithira Attathirunal, marking the birth anniversary of former head of Travancore royal family Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, slated to be held on October 26. The temple will be closed on October 26 evening.
