One of the burning questions today about the nature of the verdict that is to be delivered by the three-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court on the Ayodhya land issue is not just limited to the mind of the layman. Even Bollywood stars are waiting to watch the final verdict that will be announced on 24th September. But they are carefully choosing their words while speaking on the matter. Gathered at a city event, Sanjay Dutt told the waiting media, “The matter is sub-judice. Let us wait till the verdict is out and then we will speak more about it.”
Actor Ajay Devgan who accompanied Sanju Baba at the event also said, “Whatever judgement is announced, we all have to follow it.”
Amitabh Bachchan, who was also present, however did not wish to comment on the matter. Instead, he said emphatically, “I have already told the media on another day what I had to say. I don’t need to repeat.” His comment was followed by a lot of disappointed mumbling from the Press.
