Separate bays allotted for KSRTC, Pvt buses

KOCHI: The mobility hub authorities have decided to allot the first five bays at the Vyttila mobility hub for the KSRTC buses.The decision was taken at a meeting convened on Wednesday to resolve the clash between the KSRTC and private bus crew over the issue of allotment of bays.The clash had begun when the private bus staff started parking their buses at the bays which the KSRTC staff claimed were theirs.At present, bays from one to 5 have been allotted to KSRTC buses, 6 and 13 to the mobility hub, while the bays from 7 to 12 for private buses, Regional Transport Officer T J Thomas said.
