MYSORE: Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah said the Congress was in no mood to entertain the unsavoury developments in the BJP. “The change of CMs will not end the political crisis in the BJP. The crisis is at its peak with leaders of both the factions indulging in mudslinging,” he said.He told reporters here on Sunday that Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda should dissolve the House and seek fresh mandate if he respected democracy. He described the government as ‘rotten and unstable’ due to its present state. He added that it had been proved repeatedly that it is the worst government as ministers resigned after the CM shot off a letter accusing them of conspiring against him and carrying out anti-party activities.Siddaramaiah alleged that the political crisis and dissidence in the government had affected development works and made the public doubt the stability of the government. “The government failed to tackle the drought situation and has misused Union government funds,” he said. The Congress had repeatedly pleaded to the Governor to dismiss the government,” he added. Refuting former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa’s charges that those with vested interest had conspired against him, Siddaramaiah said the misdeeds of Yeddyurappa and his ministers had backfired on them. He said the Supreme Court, which had appointed the CEC to probe into Yeddyurappa’s role in the mining scam had again recommended a CBI probe.Alleging that there was no coordination between Chief Minister and his Cabinet, he said 90 per cent of the ministers were tainted.
