SUV injures two

BANGALORE: A woman and her nine-year-old daughter sustained injuries after an SUV hit them on Thursday morning in Devanahalli traffic police station limits.The incident occurred on the Bhuvanahalli flyover in Devanahalli when Jayamma, 45, and her daughter Nayana, got down from a BMTC bus on the flyover and hurried to cross it. Reportedly, the driver, in a bid to avoid the duo, lost control and hit them. The car used by the expert committee members of the Central Empowered Committee (CEC appointed by Supreme Court to investiagte illegal mining)  was going towards BIAL from Devanahalli.  However, none of the expert committee members sustained injuries and continued their journey to New Delhi. The police said that the car belonged to the Kumara Krupa Guest House.
