Two roadies get injured in one of the biggest bike accidents on the show.
Episode III – 10 Roadies
Location: Hospet/Hampi
- Two roadies (Ayaz and Shambhavi) get injured in one of the biggest bike accidents in the history of Roadies, leaving them in no position to participate in any of the tasks.
- For the rest, their money task takes them to a little village where they have to use the traditional sugarcane grinders that are pulled by bullocks to collect sugarcane juice, except that instead of handling the bullocks, they have to actually take the place of the bullocks.
- For the first time the Roadies are given a new kind of task that is neither for money, nor for immunity. It is called an “advantage” task. The winner is to get an advantage at the voteout. The task takes them to beautiful Hampi, possibly one of the best locations on Roadies. Teams are split in two – one boy and one girl each. Their task is for one partner to row a coracle (traditional boat) to his/her partner who is hanging from a rope in the middle of a river. The team that does this, the fastest, wins. All the girls end up opting to hold on to the rope resulting in all of them hurting their hands pretty bad.
- At the voteout, the advantage for the winning teams is that only they get to vote. The resulting voteout turns out to be yet another shocker as once again a strong candidate leaves the show.
