The tickets for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala will be released on September 19.

To seek the darshan of Lord Venkateswara, tickets for December are set to be released soon. The best time to visit Tirumala is in December and for that, you need to book the tickets as soon as they become available.

The tickets for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala will release on September 19. These tickets can get booked quickly, so make sure to keep track of it. If you have booked the tickets already for this week, you can witness the Pavithrotsavam – held for three days.

The Trichanur Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple will be celebrating the Pavithrotsavam festival for three days which began on September 16 and will last till September 18. The celebrations include rituals like Vishwaksena Puja, Punyahavachanam, Mrutsangrahanam, Senadhipati Utsavam and Ankurarpanam conducted on the evening of September 15.

Every year, the Pavithrotsavam is celebrated for three days. It is believed that doing so can help maintain the sanctity of the temple. The festival also helps in rectifying the unknowing mistakes made by pilgrims or the staff. Hence, purification rituals are done.

On September 16, the Pavithra Pratishtha ceremony will take place which will be followed by the Pavithra Samarpana on the 17th and Prunahuti on September 18. Devotees can participate in the Pavithrotsavam Arjita Seva by paying Rs 750 for a day. They will receive two laddoos and two vadas as prasadam.

Due to the Pavithrotsavam, the Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva which was scheduled for September 16 has been cancelled. Even Kalyanotsavam, Veda Ashirvachanam, Kumkumarchana, and Unjal Seva have also been cancelled by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. On September 17, TTD will celebrate the Ananta Padmanabha Vratam in Tirumala. Right at 6 am, Sudarshan Chakrathalwar of Lord Venkateswara will be taken out in a procession from the temple premises to the Swami Pushkarini near the Sri Bhuvaraha Swami Temple. After it is bathed, the Sudarshan Chakrathalwar is returned to the temple.

Ananta Padmanabha Vratam is observed annually across the 108 Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams.
