Ukraine votes in new Parliament
Though voters seemed undecided, pre-poll surverys suggested that Yanukovich's Regions Party may grab the biggest share of the vote.

Ukraine: Ukraine voted for it's crucial parliamentary elections on Sunday.

Though voters seemed undecided on how they want the post-election scenario to look like, pre-poll surverys suggested that Viktor Yanukovich's Regions Party may grab the biggest share of the vote.

With Yanukovich's party looking to become the largest in the Parliament, some Western commentators are already predicting a defeat for the Orange Revolution of 2004.

After casting his vote, President Yushchenko said talks to form a government would start immediately after the election.

The state is likely to see resurgence of Russia-backed forces, which would mean a step back from the pro-West ideals that brought the Orange Revolution liberals to power in the first place.

The Orange Revolution brought together a group of people who wanted to bring an end to falsification and bring about the freedom to choose leaders for the country.
