In news that comes as a heartbreak for many, model Alessandra Ambrosio has parted ways with the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with the Shanghai show being her last one ever.
In an emotional Instagram post, the Brazilian beauty shared that she's never, not even in her wildest dreams, had thought of doing as many as 17 Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows. "Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have been working for this amazing brand that inspires me and women all over the world. In my wildest dreams I would have never imagined doing 17 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows."
She also thanked fans for their love and support and shared how difficult it was for her to bid farewell to her angel sisters including Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge. "Thank you Ed, and all my Victoria’s Secret family for making these memories unforgettable. Last night was so emotional to say goodbye to my #angel sisters but we put on the biggest and best show ever. I could not have done this without all the love and support from my fans. It gives me great pride to be part the Victoria’s Secret movement! I will always be cheering for you! Love you forever."
Ambrosio made VSFC runway debut in 2000 and ever since then, there's been no looking back. As the model prepares to focus on her swimsuit line, Ale by Alessandra, here are some of her most memorable moments on the ramp.
