The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have created quite a lot of buzz in and around the city of Mumbai. The star-studded occasion has definitely demonstrated some outstanding wedding fashion looks. Among others, Shloka Ambani has donned some of the most ethereal ensembles, keeping up a solid mix of traditional and contemporary designs. For the mehendi night recently, Shloka ditched heavy lehengas and went for a magnificent saree. The highlight of the look was the vintage jewellery that belonged to her maternal grandmother.

Shloka Ambani was styled by her sister, Diya Mehta Jatia, for the mehendi ceremony. Shloka chose a golden-toned green tissue silk saree with zari work and a signature paan patti motif on the border from Masaba Gupta’s label, House Of Masaba. She paired it with a half-sleeved embroidered blouse and a contrasting green dupatta, which was heavily adorned with golden zari and motif works.

Her accessories were what stood out the most in this ensemble. Shloka chose her nani maa’s vintage gold jewellery. She wore a stunning matar-style gold necklace, matching earrings and a maang teeka which gave off a unique traditional and regal appearance. For her makeup, theAmbanibahu went with a subtle base, kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude pink lip colour. Lastly, she fashioned her hair into loose, wavy curls and let it flow over her shoulders.

Earlier, stylist Diya Mehta curated a bright, multi-panelled lehenga look for Shloka Ambani for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s haldi ceremony. The exquisite piece was from Anamika Khanna’s label.

The green lehenga had elaborate multi-coloured Resham embroidery, thread and sequin work, and floral designs. It featured a high waist, an A-line style with maximum flare. Shloka wore it with a beige, elaborately embroidered blouse that has a backless design, tassel and bead embellishments, and a square neckline. The outfit was paired with a crimson patterned dupatta with gota patti borders and intricate threadwork.

Shloka wore bangles, pearl-embellished mang tika, statement earrings and a hefty choker necklace with the outfit. She finished off her look with a braided hairstyle adorned with gajra. For her makeup, she went for kohl-lined eyelids, mauve eyeshadow, black eyeliner, mascara-adorned lashes, highlighter and tinted cheekbones, and pink lip colours.
