Asif Ali is one of the most consistent actors in the Malayalam industry, striking an average of four films per year. The actor will soon be gracing the silver screens with his fourth lead role film after cameo appearances in Varshangalkku Shesham and Marivillin Gopurangal released this year. Asif Ali’s upcoming film is titled Kishkindha Kaandam. It is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, who previously collaborated with the actor for the film Kakshi: Amminippilla. Apart from Asif Ali, actors Aparna Balamurali, Jagadish and Vijayraghavan will be playing the lead role in Kishkindha Kaandam. The makers have announced the theatrical release date of the film along with a poster. Asif Ali starrer Kishkindha Kaandam will be an Onam release. The poster has gone viral now.
In the viral poster, three prominent characters of the film Kishkindha Kaandam are featured–Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali and Vijayraghavan in separate grids. With stairs in the background, the film is expected to be mysterious and thriller. The film is based on a family’s legacy who live in a house built near the forest. The buried secrets unfold as the film progresses with the help of monkeys in the surroundings. The tagline of Kishkindha Kaandam is ‘A Tale Of Three Wise Monkeys.’ There are three characters in the story and glimpses of Asif Ali chasing the monkeys were also seen in the teaser. The recently released poster marks the second poster of the film. While releasing the poster, the director Dinjith Ayyathan announced the release date of Kishkindha Kaandam.

The film is produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment. The story, screenplay, dialogues and cinematography were done by Bahul Ramesh. The film is edited by Sooraj ES. The music of the film was composed by Mujeeb Majeed. The teaser of the film was released a week ago.
Asif Ali was last seen in the film Adios Amigo. It was directed by Nahas Nazar and written by Thankam.
