Avengers: Endgame trailer was released earlier this month and since then fans have had enough time to dissect it frame by frame. From details as small as Iron Man's helmet to bridging Doctor Strange's futuristic visions with Ant-Man landing at the gates of Avengers Mansion, Marvel fans have jolted down some mind boggling theories.
Recently, a Reddit user pointed out one such theory that suggests that Iron Man and Captain America will die in the Endgame. supporting the theory the user points out at a conversation between the two superheroes in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Tony Stark says, "A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing 300 feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day but that up there, that's... That's the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that? "
To this, Steve Rogers replies, "Together." Hinting at the possible outcome of the war, Tony responds that they'll lose. Hearing him, Steve says "Then we'll do that together too."
In the scene, Tony referred the Chitauri army led by Thanos to the extraterrestrial threat from the first film. Now we know that over the time the Mad Titan has grown his army with The Black Order and is ready to take a heads-on infinity war with the Avengers.
In the last film Avengers: Infinity War we saw that Thanos managed to collect all the six Infinity Stones and he successfully wiped half of the universe with a snap of his fingers. Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk and War Machine were among the few Avengers who survived his snap. While Black Panther, Spider Man, Nick Fury, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch were among others who disintegrated into dust.
