Cardi B Welcomes Baby Number 3 With Offset, Shares Adorable Photos

Cardi B is now a proud mother of three! The WAP rapper, 31, shared on Thursday that she’s welcomed her third child. In an Instagram post, she included several photos of herself cradling and breastfeeding her newborn at the hospital. Just last month, Cardi B had announced her pregnancy through an Instagram post, where she posed on a balcony, cradling her baby bump. On the same day, her representative reportedly confirmed that she had filed for divorce from her husband Offset, who appears alongside her and their newborn in Thursday’s Instagram post.

Cardi B’s post revealed that the baby was born on Saturday, September 7. “The prettiest lil thing,” she captioned the photos.

“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she shared on Instagram previously. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminds me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion,” she added. The singer continued, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”

Cardi B and Offset exchanged vows in 2017 and have experienced their share of ups and downs. While Cardi B filed for divorce in 2020, the couple later reconciled. They are already parents to two children: Kulture, born in 2018 and Wave, born in 2021.

Cardi B reportedly announced her separation from Offset in December, and soon after, she filed for divorce. During an Instagram Live in December, she mentioned that she had been “single for a minute.” However, the couple was later seen together at a Met Gala party, leaving their relationship status uncertain. In a May interview with Rolling Stone, Cardi shared that she and Offset “do love each other” and are “best friends,” informs USA Today.

“And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system. It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend,” she added.

Interestingly, two of Cardi B’s children will now have birthdays just days apart, as Wave was born on September 4.
