Actor Dhyan Sreenivasan has donned the scriptwriter’s hat for his upcoming film, Cop Uncle. Billed as a nonsensical comedy, the film is directed by Vinay Jose and promises to “tickle the funny bone”. The makers recently dropped a second-look poster, which has left everyone intrigued due to its comic book-like format. Along with this, the release date of the film was also revealed. Dhyan Sreenivasan is all set to star in Cop Uncle. As per the latest updates, it will hit the silver screens on May 24. This also marks the directorial debut of Vinay Jose. Recently, Dhyan Sreenivasan unveiled the second-look poster on Instagram, leaving his fans buzzing with excitement. The quirky poster grabbed everyone’s attention. The caption read, “Double the laughs, double the fun: Cop Uncle’s official second look posters are here to tickle your funny bone! A nonsensical comedy entertainer in cinemas 24 May 2024.”
Fans did not leave an opportunity to shower their love and support to the team. One reacted, “New bomb loading.” Another joined in, “Waiting for the movie, brother.” A comment read, “Uff! This is going to be entertaining. Wow!”
Cop Uncle will also star Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, and Shritha Sivadas in pivotal roles. Jaffer Idukki, Johny Antony, and Vasisht Umesh will feature in supporting roles. The film looks like a light-hearted mass entertainer which may leave the audience in splits. Previously, Malayalam actor Shane Nigam too showcased his support for the cast and crew of Cop Uncle. He called the movie “a hilarious rollercoaster ride of laughter and entertainment!” He further added, “Get ready to redefine your laughter limits with this comedic masterpiece coming this Summer 2024.”

Dhyan Sreenivasan was last seen in Vashangalkku Shesham which emerged to be a success and grossed over Rs 50 crore worldwide on day 7 of its release. It is inching towards the Rs 100 crore club. The film stars Dhyan and Pranav Mohanlal, who left the audience spellbound with their exceptional performances.
