In a recent interview, Divyanka Tripathi reacted to Krishna Mukherjee’s allegations against the producer of her show. Tripathi shared that she was “shocked” when she got to know about it and argued that such behaviour on television sets is “appalling”.

Our Union rules are very strong. Yes, earlier, I could have thought of something else. When we started our careers, at that time unions weren’t strong but today, people are scared. They are scared of contracts. Besides this, humanity! How can you lock one of your actors? There are other ways to deal,” Divyanka told TellyChakkar.
What Were Krishna Mukherjee’s Allegations?
Last month, television actress Krishna Mukherjee left everyone shocked when she made some serious allegations against the producer of her show, Shubh Shagun. Krishna, who rose to fame with her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, opened up about battling depression and blamed the makers of Shubh Shagun for her anxiety. She admitted that she was going through “tough times” and accused the producer of the show of harassment.
The 31-year-old actress further claimed that the makers of the show locked her in a makeup room once when she was unwell and unwilling to shoot. She also accused them of not clearing her dues and alleged that a “big amount” has not been paid by the production house to her yet.

However, the Shubh Shagun producer, Kundan Sharma, denied all allegations made by Krishna and accused her of defaming him instead. In his statement, Kundan lashed out at Krishna and accused her of “misleading” all by making false allegations.
Later in an interview, Kundan slammed Krishna for saying that he had been threatening her and claimed that she was making such allegations only to be in the limelight. The producer also argued that everyone on sets is treated with “great respect” and claimed since Krishna “wants to prove herself as truthful, she is making up ten other lies.”
