Two days after singer Remo Fernandes was booked for verbally abusing a minor girl at a hospital, the Goa Police issued summons to 'O meri munni' singer on Saturday after the allegations against him of abusing a 17-year-old girl at Goa medical hospital.

Panaji: Two days after singer Remo Fernandes was booked for verbally abusing a minor girl at a hospital, the Goa Police issued summons to 'O meri munni' singer on Saturday after the allegations against him of abusing a 17-year-old girl at Goa medical hospital.

According to the first information report, Remo verbally abused her on December 3 in ward number 105 of the Goa medical College in Bambolim, where she has hospitalised for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.

On December 1, the girl was injured by a car allegedly driven by Remo's son while Remo was in the car. The police have filed a case against the singer under the Goa Children's act.

According to the cops, there seemed to be an altercation between the girl, her family and Remo Fernandes.

The Padma Shri award winner, who is in Europe, has also hinted at a possible defamation case against the complainant. He says that the accusations made agaisnt him were fake and the complaint was totally fabricated.

Police IG Sunil Garg said that the singer has been asked to come on Monday at 10 am in an interaction with CNN IBN.
