Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 69th birthday today, which is August 22. Considered an icon in Indian cinema, the actor is receiving warm wishes from his fans as well as the whole industry. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor, Pawan Kalyan, who happens to be the megastar’s younger brother, released a heartwarming statement on the day to share his love. The gesture came as a delight for the fans of the Konidela family, which is now viral.
Unsurprisingly, the whole industry is pouring love and well-wishes into the Tollywood cinema icon. Among them, his younger brother’s message of admiration and pride is the one receiving the most love. In the statement, Pawan praised his elder brother for his contributions to the Indian cinema and his acts of philanthropy, which indicates his compassion for others.
Furthermore, he expressed gratitude towards the megastar for his contribution of Rs 5 crore to the Jana Sena party before the Andhra Pradesh general elections. He emphasised how much the gesture meant to him and was worth millions. He stated, “I am always grateful to God for giving me such a great donor as my brother,” wishing him a very happy birthday.
Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy with the shoot of Vishwambhara, which is being directed by Mallidi Vassishta, also credited as the writer. The cast includes Chiranjeevi, Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ashika Ranganath. The producers are V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati and Vikram Reddy, through the UV Creations banner. M M Keeravani is handling the music while the cinematography is being done by Chota K Naidu and the editor is Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film is expected to release on January 10, next year. As per the reports, the film is being made under a budget of Rs 200 crore.
While Pawan Kalyan is expected to resume the shoot of OG soon. Some of his upcoming works also include Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
