Inside Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Best Weekend’ At Wimbledon With Husband Raghav Chadha

Wimbledon 2024 was a noteworthy event as always, and this year, several Bollywood celebrities were spotted at the game. Most recently, Parineeti Chopra attended the finals with her husband Raghav Chadha. Parineeti shared several glimpses from the match day on Instagram. One of the photos showed them holding hands on the stands, with the caption, “Wimbledon Finals 2024.” The duo seemed to have a good time in London and also shared Carlos Alcaraz’s winning moment.

Post-match, the actress shared a carousel of pictures with her husband from the stands. She also shared pictures of a bowl of strawberries and cream that they enjoyed at the match. “Wimbledon finals, strawberries & cream, and my love – the best weekend!” wrote Parineeti, summarising the amazing time she spent in London. Parineeti chose a white dress as her match-day outfit, which she paired up with a white coat and black sunglasses. Raghav, on the other hand, dressed up formally in a white shirt paired with a brown blazer and tie.

The final match at Wimbledon Centre Court featured defending champion Carlos Alcaraz against tennis legend Novak Djokovic. Earlier, Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra were also at Wimbledon.

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24 last year and had a grand celebration in Udaipur. Parineeti previously said that they fell in love over a breakfast date in London. Recently, the actress shared more details from her love story, stating that it took her a few minutes to know Raghav was the one. Parineeti stated on Raj Shamani’s podcast, “We started talking to each other, and we realised not even in weeks, within days, we just used to talk about getting married. My mother always used to tell me when your life partner will come in front of you, you will know, and I said, ‘Please don’t tell me these filmy lines aisa kuch nahi hota.’ I swear, I met Raghav and in five minutes I knew I’m going to marry this man.”

Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali directed the film, which stars Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti as leads. The film was based on the life of Amar Singh Chamkila, a legendary Punjabi singer. Parineeti played the role of Amarjot, the legend’s singing partner and second wife. Raghav Chadha is an active member of the Rajya Sabha.
