Janhvi Kapoor, On Mr And Mrs Mahi Promotion Duty, Enjoys Gujarati Thali With Orry

Amid the ongoing IPL season, actress Janhvi Kapoor is making the most of it to promote her upcoming romantic sports drama film, Mr and Mrs Mahi. From attending IPL matches to adopting method dressing, the actress is clearly on a promotional spree. Jahnvi recently arrived in Ahmedabad, where she engaged in many activities such as witnessing the high-octane RCB vs RR match. She also enjoyed a special promotional event in the city before enjoying traditional Gujarati food with her team and BFF Orry.

Janhvi took to her Instagram handle and shared glimpses of her outing in Ahmedabad this week. In the first story, Janhvi shared a post by Dharma Productions, showing her engaging with fans at a promotional event for Mr and Mrs Mahi. She can be seen speaking to the audience, dancing to songs and even taking a selfie with the crowd.

The following post included more glimpses from her Ahmedabad outing. In one of them, the actress poses in front of the Atal Bridge at the Sabarmati Riverfront. Janhvi also enjoyed traditional Gujarati food with her team and best friend Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani. Later, the duo arrived to watch the IPL match at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

A few other videos and pictures are circulating on the internet, showing Kanhvi enjoying the IPL match from the stands. Cheering and waving at her fans, Janhvi’s epic reaction to RCB star Virat Kohli’s runout also caught the internet’s attention.

Notably, Ahmedabad came as another addition to Mr and Mrs Mahi’s promotional plan. Earlier, Janhvi and her co-star Rajkummar Rao visited Varanasi and attended the Ganga aarti. The movie’s production house shared glimpses of their visit, showing the actors enjoying the Ganga aarti. In addition to that, the actress also visited Delhi.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr and Mrs Mahi marks the director’s second collaboration with Janhvi after Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor were also seen together in Roohi.

Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film will hit theatres on May 31. It tells the story of a couple who get united by their deep love for cricket. As the film unfolds, it will show how the two get along while developing their passion for the sport and pushing each other to live their dreams.
