Johnny Lever Recalls Karan Arjun Shoot, 'Salman Khan Was Doing Perfect Take; SRK Was Weak in...'
Johnny Lever has shared his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in Karan Arjun. He recalled how SRK struggled with fight scenes in the movie.

Johnny Lever has recalled working with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the 1995 actioner Karan Arjun. Johnny shared that Salman would do fight scenes very smoothly, while SRK would struggle a lot when it came to doing action. He further praised SRK for working so hard on himself and his skills and becoming one of the biggest stars in the world today.

“Both he (SRK) and Akshay Kumar are hardworking but there’s a difference. SRK was weak in fight, he was weak in dancing. Salman Khan and SRK were doing Karan Arjun. In that, Salman was doing a perfect take, but there would be retakes because of him (SRK). Salman would mock SRK. That man has worked and made himself a star. He is now a pro in dance, he can fight too now,” Johnny told Ranveer Allahbadia.

Johnny continued, “Both of us (him and SRK) have worked in Baazigar before that he came in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. But at that time, he wasn’t that famous. More people used to know me than him during the shooting. I was a star at that time and SRK was upcoming.”

While talking about Salman Khan, Johnny said, “He doesn’t take much tension. He is a great character, busy in his own world. (mimics him).” Johnny believes that Shah Rukh takes his work very seriously, while Salman is more carefree. “So, it’s about the nature. Over time, whatever SRK did, people started liking it. People liked his attention to detail. Women would die for him while men would jealous of the star. But he would be focused on his work,” he said.
