Pushpa Director Sukumar Celebrates Daughter’s Birthday; Photos Viral

Filmmaker Sukumar, known for his impactful films in the South, is presently busy with the shooting of Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. Coming to his family life, Sukumar tied the knot with Thabitha Bandreddi in 2009, and the couple is blessed with two children, Sukritiveni and Sukrant. Recently, Tabitha shared some snapshots on social media, where they were seen celebrating their daughter’s birthday. The photos went viral in no time. Netizens also noted striking resemblance between Sukumar and his daughter in these pictures. In the photos, Sukumar is seen spending quality time with his wife and kids. Sukumar gave two gifts wrapped in a purple cover to his daughter, Sukritiveni. Sukrant was seen having fun during the bash. In another reel posted by Thabitha, Sukumar is giving an affectionate kiss to his daughter on her cheek.

Devoted fans of Allu Arjun eagerly anticipate the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The makers recently heightened the excitement by unveiling a special poster, reaffirming that Pushpa 2 is set to hit theatres on August 15, 2024, in various languages.

“200 DAYS for Pushpa Raj to begin his RULE. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024”, wrote production house Mythiri Movie Makers on X.

Despite the anticipation, insider reports indicate that 50% of the shooting for the highly awaited Pushpa 2 remains unfinished. Commencing in December 2022, the sequel still has 200 days left for its release, leaving half of the shoot pending.

Pushpa: The Rise made its cinematic debut in December 2021, emerging as one of the highest-grossing films of that year. Starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles, the movie boasts a captivating soundtrack crafted by the National Award-winning music composer, Devi Sri Prasad.
